I was up about 6:30 a.m. and back to work on The Ultraviolet Alphabet and managed letters O through P. Looming end of American democracy or not. I spent more time trying to solve the plot problems with The Night Watchers. More time on the Bashi Marl.

There was a time, many years ago, I marked lost days with an L. So there you go, as this was surely a lost day. The depression simply overwhelmed me, and I was no match for it.
